New Original Song from Kobo Kanaeru

Kobo Kanaeru, the rain shaman of VTuber agency hololive Production’s Indonesian branch, hololive Indonesia, released a new original song today.

Entah… is her third original song, and it was released on holo-n, a joint label formed by hololive Production and UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN. Kobo co-composed the song with Japanese singer-songwriter and producer ESME MORI. She wrote the lyrics, which are in a mix of her native Indonesian and English, by herself.

The song was unveiled as part of the celebrations for Kobo's birthday, which also included a karaoke live stream where Kobo performed accompanied by pre-recorded videos from guests spanning all of the other branches of hololive Production.

The guests included Ichijou Ririka, Hiodoshi Ao, Akai Haato and Yozora Mel from hololive’s Japanese branch, Fuwawa and Mococo Abyssgard, Nerissa Ravencroft, Mori Calliope and Takanashi Kiara from hololive English, Banzoin Hakka and Regis Altare from the English branch of HOLOSTARS (the male branch of hololive Production), and all four members of UPROAR!!, a sub-unit from the Japanese branch of HOLOSTARS.

A member of hololive Indonesia’s third generation, Kobo Kanaeru debuted in March 2022 alongside Vestia Zeta and Kaela Kovalskia. She released her first original song Mantra Hujan in June 2022 and her second, Oh! Asmara, in March 2023.
