New Single from Kanae

NIJISANJI VTuber Kanae will release a new single on November 29th.

The title track, Tailwind, has been chosen to serve as the opening theme song for the anime series “Overtake!”, which is scheduled to air in October. This marks Kanae’s first collaboration with a TV anime.

Composed and arranged by eba, with lyrics from hotaru, the song is said to be an “uplifting anthem that gently encourages those who are working hard” and that showcases Kanae's soothing vocals.

“Overtake!” is a series that focuses on the theme of F4 (Formula Four) motorsports. The story revolves around the high school racer Haruka and freelance photographer Kouya, showcasing the passion and excitement of motorsports, and the personal struggles and dilemmas of the characters.

Also included on the single will be the B-sides Always be here for you and Tepid, and instrumental versions of all three songs.
