New Album from Mori Calliope

"Rapping reaper" Mori Calliope will release a new album on December 16th.

Her first full-length release from a major label, SINDERELLA will contain 10 new songs based around the concept of "10 Deadly Sins" (the seven original deadly sins and three more determined by Calliope). The album features contributions from a number of notable producers. Electro swing duo FAKE TYPE. produced the preceding digital single NEZUMI Scheme, while the other track currently available on digital platforms, I'm Greedy, was produced by rapper JP THE WAVY. Takuya Yamanaka, the frontman of rock band THE ORAL CIGARETTES, produced Wanted, Wasted, while Dance Past Midnight will feature a guest appearance from singer, voice actress and VTuber AmaLee.

The album will be available in three editions. The First Press Limited Special Edition will be available exclusively through the Mori Calliope Official International Online Shop / UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE. It will come with a T-shirt and a Blu-ray disc featuring the music videos from her previous EP SHINIGAMI NOTE and a "behind the music" video for SINDERELLA. The First Press Limited Edition will feature the same Blu-ray disc, but it will contain a "SINDERELLA" original card randomly selected from four designs instead of the T-shirt. The Standard Edition will be CD-only, but it will add a "Happily Ever After" version of end of a life as an exclusive bonus track.

As part of the release campaign, a fan art contest was launched on Twitter in November and will run until December 15th (JST). The winners will be announced on December 16th, and Calliope will hold a fan art review stream on her YouTube channel. In addition, it was recently announced that Calliope will be featuring on a new track from rock band ZUTOMAYO called Kira Killer, which will be released on December 15th.
