A diverse line-up of Japanese artists will be coming together for an online music festival called From Japan to the World
Aimed at a global audience, the event will be streamed from Spincoaster's YouTube channel
on June 13th at 7pm Japan time (11am in London) and it will last for about four
hours. The festival will be rebroadcasted on June 14th at 5pm Los Angeles time (PDT) to give fans in the Americas a chance to enjoy the show at a convenient hour.
The performances will be taking place at Spincoaster's Music Bar in Tokyo, which fans may recognize from their popular session and interview videos on YouTube. The line-up will include renowned composer and producer Kan Sano

, Japan-born, California-raised singer-songwriter Michael Kaneko
, composer, guitarist and Ovall
member Shingo Sekiguchi
, beatmaker Yuhei Miura
and RHYME SO
, the latest
project by legendary Japanese producer Shinichi Osawa
more artists have been added to the line-up. Feminist singer-songwriter Yayoi Daimon
, who attracted international attention for her twerk anthem
, will also be performing an exclusive set with guitarist
The festival will be free to watch, but it will be accepting donations to help
support the artists and technicians involved, as they were forced to cancel most of their activities this spring due to the COVID-19 crisis.
