X JAPAN Recent Activities

X JAPAN, through live performances at the Nissan Stadium on August 14 and 15, will make their revival in the truest sense of the word. X JAPAN, made up of members YOSHIKI, ToshI, PATA, HEATH and SUGIZO will be performing in this highly significant event. New songs will be introduced, including Born To Be Free, whose promotional video was recently shot in Los Angeles.

The music video Born To Be Free directed by YOSHIKI himself features former president and chairman of Marvel Comics and creator of the comics 'Spider-Man' and 'X-Men', Stan Lee in a cameo role. This promotional video, through the cooperation of Panasonic, was shot using a new prototype 3D camera in addition to regular 2D cameras.

At the end of this month, YOSHIKI and SUGIZO will be going to Washington in order to make an appearance at the Otaku Convention which will be held on July 31. This will be followed by a main stage appearance at Lollapalooza on August 8 for their long-awaited US debut. Starting in October, an American tour consisting of more than ten locations has been scheduled. Details will be announced soon.
