First Mixtape from AOTO

Rapper AOTO will release his first mixtape on November 8th.

the90puggy will contain 10 tracks, including the previously-released songs waiting for me & you :) and i know that. The release is based on an electro sound, but is said to pull from a wide range of genres. There are no guest artists, and all of the tracks are joint works between AOTO and producer/DJ M-3.

The mixtape is said to show the potential of the current Japanese hip-hop scene, which is rapidly moving towards a “genre-less” approach.

The visuals for the release were created by sota mori (SAGE).

AOTO has also announced he will be holding a release party for the mixtape at EBISU BATICA in Tokyo on December 2nd. More details on the event will be announced at a later date.
