Metalcore band MAKE MY DAY have announced that they will be bringing their activities to an end this month.

In a group message posted on their official website, the members stated that as MAKE MY DAY reached the milestone of its 10th anniversary this year, they felt strongly that they have reached the limit of what they can express as a band.

They stated that the works they have created with everyone over the past 10 years are irreplaceable treasures to them that they take pride in, and thanked the fans for all of their support over the past decade.

With this in mind, they will hold a final show titled The Farewell at Shibuya CYCLONE, a venue they called their "home", on May 31st.

The message also noted that while MAKE MY DAY's activities will be ending, they hope fans will continue to support the group's members in their future projects.

MAKE MY DAY traces its roots back to another metalcore band, Ashley Scared The Sky, whose members changed their name in 2014, shortly after the departure of their original vocalist. While a number of line-up changes followed, leaving guitarist and vocalist Julian the only member remaining from Ashley Scared The Sky, vocalist Isam and bassist U-ske have also been with the band since 2014. Drummer Tkken joined the group in 2022.
