Singer-songwriter Vicke Blanka released a new digital single on August 30th.
Snake is said to incorporate inspiration he felt during his recent performances in Europe and the Middle East, where he was able to experience the local music scene and meet local audiences.

A music video for Snake that was shot entirely on location in Paris has also been unveiled. The video features two contrasting versions of Vicke Blanka.
Vicke Blanka commented:

The music video was filmed entirely in Paris, and I love how the visuals captures the atmosphere so well. Please try to unravel the story behind it.”
Video director Akihiro Odagiri commented:
“Did you steal it? Was it stolen from you? Sometimes even the person in question doesn’t know. Vicke’s songs always have various sides and various colors, and always carry a fleeting sensation.
The stage is Paris. Snakes are numerous. There, a video shoot that felt like improv. Were we filming? Were we being filmed? This, too, I do not know.
What is certain is that in the summer of 2023, we made a video that could only have been recorded at that moment. These things are truly ephemeral. And it was a truly beautiful time.”
Snake is a preview of Vicke Blanka's upcoming six-song EP Worldfly, which is scheduled to hit stores on October 25th. Also included on the release will be Kakumei and Bitter, the latter of which is the theme song to
the movie “Legal Heir”.
The EP will be available in three physical editions. The two limited first pressing editions will include music videos for Kakumei and Snake, as well as documentary footage from Vicke Blanka’s performances in Europe and the Middle East from
this spring, and live footage from his performance at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on July 31st this year. They will also include a special 52-page deluxe photo book and a card sleeve. Meanwhile, the CD-only version will include radio-style segments of
conversation between the songs.
