New Album from Novel Core

Rapper Novel Core will release a new album on December 15th.

A GREAT FOOL will be his first full-length release since his major debut. It will feature 10 tracks, including the preceding digital singles WAGAMAMA MONDAIJI and DOG -freestyle-, as well as new songs produced by artists such as Takuya Yamanaka of rock band THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Matt Cab, MATZ, UTA and Yackle. The release will also feature guest appearances from SKY-HI, the CEO of BMSG, the management company/label Novel Core is currently signed to, hip-hop artist AK-69 and singer SG.

The collaboration with SKY-HI, PANIC!, will be released as a third preceding digital single on October 20th.

It was also recently revealed that Novel Core is one of the songwriters who contributed to BMSG's new boy group BE:FIRST's major debut single Gifted.. He penned the music and lyrics for the coupling track First Step together with Aile The Shota (Shota Watanabe, one of the contestants from the audition show "THE FIRST"), SKY-HI and m-flo's ☆Taku Takahashi. Novel Core previously worked with the members of BE:FIRST during the "Creativity Screening" portion of "THE FIRST", offering the contestants feedback on their rapping and songwriting.

In addition, to celebrate the first anniversary of his major debut, Novel Core announced today that he has settled on "OUTER" as the name for his fans. It is said to symbolize the fact that his fans are the outer wall that give shape to his "core". It is also an anagram of "ROUTE", hinting at how the fans are an important guide for him as an artist.
