YOSHIKI recently announced that X JAPAN will release their first new album in 20 years on March 11, 2016.

The album will be the follow-up to their fifth record, Dahlia, which was released in 1996. It will contain all brand new tracks. It will be produced by John Battsek ("Searching for Sugarman", "The Imposter") and directed by Stephen Kijak ("Scott Walker: 30 Century Man", "Stones in Exile"). X JAPAN will debut the film at their special #XDAY concert at London's SSE Wembley Arena on March 12th. Tickets for #XDAY went on sale July 4th. Further details on the album and documentary are to be announced.
