JaME's 20th Anniversary: Comment from HIRΦNO KAMINOSE

A singer-songwriter, pianist and bassist, HIRΦNO KAMINOSE (formerly known as HITT) has a unique sound that ranges from jazzy rock to emotional piano ballads. A fan of flamboyant outfits, with over 400 original songs in his back catalogue, he keeps fans guessing with each of his charismatic performances.

He first began to attract attention abroad with the music video for Kakkotsuke Man, most notably in France where he performed at Japan Expo in 2010 and at Japan Expo Sud in 2012. He returned to France several times over the years, and has also ventured to many other countries in Europe. He took the stage in the UK in 2010, and ventured to North America for a show at Anime North in Toronto, Canada in 2011.

We've had the opportunity to interview him several times throughout his career, including before his first European solo tour as HITT in 2009, and most recently in 2015.

As he is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of his solo debut this year, HIRΦNO KAMINOSE gave us his thoughts on how far we have both come, and how the music industry has changed over the past two decades.
