Holiday Special: Interview and Fan Q&A with HITT

A flamboyant and original solo artist, HITT has had a very busy year. With the New Year just around the corner, he spoke to us about his plans for 2015, his inspiration and magic rock star powder.


Please share with us some interesting incidents that happened during your latest European tour.

HITT: There weren’t very many interesting incidents in particular, but each HITT SHOW is always interesting. And meeting with the audience is always interesting.

Your latest single is titled Yakusoku, which means "promise". What are some promises you've made to yourself and other people?

HITT: I always tell my fans "I promise, I will come back here!" at the end of each concert. I make the fans a promise that we can meet again.

Recently, you uploaded the PV of your second single Arabian Summer Giragira Night on your website. What inspired you to use such a unique image/theme? Can we expect more of such releases in the future?

HITT: Nothing particularly inspires me when I make a song, jacket cover or PV. I just come up with a vision for the work on my own. I approached Arabian Summer Giragira Night the same way. I imagined an Arabian world on my own. Please look forward to seeing my new ideas in the future!

If you had to describe your feelings about Christmas with emoji, which emoji would you use and why?

HITT: I don't often use emoji, but if I had to use one, it would be (-_-) /

If you could have anything in the world for a Christmas present, what would it be and why?

HITT: It'd be magic powder that could make me the best rock star in the world.

What are your goals for 2015?

HITT: I'll be completely independent and active starting from 2015.
I'll make music more freely than in the past, more enjoyably.
I'll release a single collection as my first work since becoming independent.
It’s titled To my dearest, Piano ~Best of Singles~, and it will also include new songs, so please look forward to it!

HITT: Make time to come to a HITT SHOW and see me!

What made you want to get into a music career?
-Nessa, France

HITT: The first reason was because I wanted to be an idol.
Then I encountered Rubber Sole shoes, and I found out that they're for punk rockers, so I formed a punk band and began to play shows. That was the starting point of my music life.

How did it feel when you stepped on a stage for the first time?
-Yoru_Baka, Poland

HITT: The stage was a calm place for me since I felt like it was my best home.

What do you like most in Germany?
-Melanie, Germany

HITT: I like sausage.
