New Rock and Pop Releases

POLYSICS will release Pretty Good on March 19th. The single will feature a striking new rock tune to offer a tantalizing insight into the group's upcoming album.

Okahira Kenji, vocalist of 3B LAB, will release his first solo mini-album on March 26th. Punk Folk will be released in both a CD and CD+DVD format, with the CD containing six tracks. The CD+DVD version of the mini-album will contain the PV for Kokuhaku, alongside footage of his Shinagawa Stellar Ball Park Live.

HY will release their first album in over two years on April 16th. HeartY will feature thirteen tracks. Following the initial release of the album, five limited edition versions will be available through HMV, SHINSEIDO, TSUTAYA and TOWER RECORDS. Details for the bonus feature included with the album have yet to be announced.

Melon Kinenbi will release their first single since September on March 19th. Charisma, kirei has already been featured on the group's first mini-album and will include a previously unreleased B-side.

Seiko Matsuda will release her first single of 2008, Hanabira masu kisetsu ni, on March 19th. The artist will also release a DVD on March 26th. Seiko Matsuda Count Down Live Party 2007-2008 will feature live footage taken from her performance on December 31, 2007 at Tokyo Taiikukan.

Lastly, nobodyknows+ will release their latest single, Under Rain, on April 9th. The single is said to feature the title track plus two b-sides and sees the group experimenting with various instruments like piano, horns and guitar. Expectations are unsurprisingly high for this latest offering, as Under Rain will be the group's first single release in nearly a year.
