Rock supergroup Petit Brabancon will release their first album on August 10th.
Fetish will contain 13 songs, although the full tracklist has not been revealed just yet. While all four songs included on their first CD single Kawaki were composed by MUCC guitarist Miya, it was noted that the album will also
contain tracks written by other members of the band such as L'Arc~en~Ciel drummer yukihiro and Tokyo Shoegazer guitarist antz.
The album is said to offer a wide range of sounds, moving from rough, fast-paced songs to tracks that delve into an ambient world featuring distorted guitars and electronic elements and solemn tracks where a heavy roar of sound is waiting in store
for listeners.
The release will be available in two editions: a CD-only regular edition and a deluxe limited edition that adds a bonus Blu-ray disc and a figure. The Blu-ray will feature footage from the band's first solo live event, a "premium live" that was held at Kanagawa's CLUB
CITTA this January with a limited audience of only 29 fans. The live video was handled by Shuichi Bamba, who a filmmaker known for his work on many music videos, including THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT's THEE MOVIE documentary. The figure was inspired by vocalist Kyo's desire to create a CD and toy set, and its design is said to vary depending whether the release is purchased from the MAVERICK STORE or the GALAXY BROAD SHOP.
In addition, the band has announced a tour titled Petit Brabancon Tour 2022 "Resonance of the corpse", which will kick off at Zepp Nagoya on September 8th.
