New Digital Single from HYDE

HYDE just released a new digital single on December 25th.

Titled DEFEAT, the track is being used in a collaboration with the video game “Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition”. The full-length lyric video, which was revealed on the release date, features scenes from the game.

DEFEAT's cover art displays two hands making a horn sign together, with the word "DEFEAT" tattooed on the fingers. The song title has a double-meaning, reading as ‘DEF’ (definitely) and ‘EAT’ in addition to the regular meaning of ‘defeat’.

The single is available for download and streaming on various platforms here.

This new single was released just one month after November's LET IT OUT and the day before HYDE’s acoustic live tour HYDE LIVE 2020-2021 ANTI WIRE kicked off.

HYDE will be entering his 20th anniversary year as a solo artist in 2021, and he is said to have more news in store.
