Former Kalafina Member KEIKO Starts Solo Career

Former Kalafina member Keiko officially began activities as a solo singer under the name KEIKO on April 16th.

Kalafina was a three-member female vocal unit that was originally formed in 2008 as a project to perform theme songs for the anime "Kara no Kyoukai". KEIKO is starting her new career as a solo singer approximately a year after the group's disbandment, which took place in 2019. A comment video from KEIKO was also recently uploaded on the avex YouTube channel.

KEIKO is currently producing music, and she will be challenging songwriting for the first time with this project. The songs will be released as an album on avex trax this upcoming fall. In May, she will release two songs she wrote called Inochi no hana and Be Yourself. In addition, she is planning to hold a tour in the fall.
