Kalafina was a vocal trio formed by famed composer Yuki Kajiura, initially for her soundtrack for the anime adaptations of "Kara no Kyokai". A decade of success followed, with the trio's vocal versatility shining through in songs ranging in style from chamber pop to ethereal new age to aggressive techno. The group disintegrated in the wake of Kajiura's departure from agency Space Craft Produce. All three members have since embarked on solo careers.
