Last year, rock band THURSDAY'S YOUTH launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance the recording of a new release. The mini-album they originally promised, Anachronism Pt.1, was released digitally in February, and a physical version is now available for purchase exclusively at their shows and via their webstore.
However, because the band was able to raise over 300% of its funding goal, the members also promised to begin work on a second release soon after. Now, more details on this follow-up release have been announced. Anachronism Pt.2 will feature some songs they have already debuted live such as Issai gassai, N/C and Corona, as well as approximately five more tracks. They are planning to begin recording in July and to complete the release sometime in August.
While they have already raised the money to record and release a digital version of the mini-album, they have launched a crowdfunding campaign for fans interested in a physical version. It will run until May 31st. Returns available include a regular CD version of the release or a special package featuring a CD with an alternate jacket, a high-resolution digital version, access to data from their recording sessions that will be uploaded in real time and audio and video recordings of their March 9th one-man live at Shibuya GARRET udagawa. The campaign has a flexible goal, so it will still go ahead whether it reaches 100% or not. More information is available on the muevo page for the campaign.
