Kazuya Yoshii to Provide Opening Theme for Dragon Ball Super

It has been announced that veteran rocker Kazuya Yoshii, probably best known as the frontman of influential rock band The Yellow Monkey, will be providing the opening theme for the new anime series "Dragon Ball Super". "Dragon Ball Super" is the first new "Dragon Ball" anime to be produced in roughly 18 years, and it will begin airing in July.

This is the first time that Yoshii has performed an anime theme as a solo artist. The title of the song will be Chouzetsu☆Dynamic!, and it was composed by Yoshii, with lyrics by Yukinojou Mori.

The ending theme will be provided by rock band Good Morning America, who are no strangers to the franchise as they just performed the ending theme for the Majin Buu arc of "Dragon Ball Z Kai" last year. Their song HELLO HELLO HELLO is a brand new track that was written by vocalist Shingo Kanehiro.
