X JAPAN's YOSHIKI has been honoured with a waxwork figure in Madame Tussaud's, Hong Kong.

YOSHIKI is considered to be one of Asia's biggest and most influential musical icons and unveiled the waxwork figure at the museum last week. The figure cost 19 million yen (Around £158,000 / €195,000 / $243,00) and took approximately four months to complete. The creative team flew to London and Paris to take accurate measurements of the artist and YOSHIKI completed the waxwork's look himself by applying its eyeliner at the unveiling ceremony.

YOSHIKI says that he is honoured to have this wax figure exhibited in Hong Kong. The figure will be on display for a limited time.
