BLOOD

BLOOD was formed with the aim of expressing strong human emotions through music while destroying the musical frame, making their sound quite unique. Despite their elaborate costumes, the members preferred to describe BLOOD as a gothic band, rather than a part of the visual kei scene, although they were also reluctant to classify their music into a single category.

BLOOD was quite active overseas, travelling to North and Central America and Europe several times, and even to Australia. However, following the departure of vocalist Hayato in 2012, the band mostly fell silent as their leader Kiwamu shifted his attention to managing his two record labels: the visual kei-focused Starwave Records and the more goth and electronic-oriented Darkest Labyrinth.
