Just after 6 pm the background music stopped and a robotic voice announced "...H.e.l.l.o....W.e...a.r.e...M.e.t.r.o.n.o.m.e...." in a flat electronic tone. The audience shouted for joy and the robotic voice called the members' names one by one to welcome them on stage. Support drummer, Shintarou; TALBO-2, RIU; TALBO-1, FUKUSUKE and VOICECODER, SHARAKU appeared, all wearing black and silver costumes that resembled space suits. SHARAKU had a unique hair style in which half of his golden hair was long and the other half was short, RIU stood his brown hair up, and FUKUSUKE had cut his hair very short giving him a very sporty look. There were two TV monitors on amps placed on both sides of the stage, which continuously showed geometrical figures with the music.

The live began with their new song Zonbi-kun, which is a mix of heavy instrumental sounds and pop electronic sounds. The tune changed often in this song and represented the world of Metronome very well. The next song, Issukan started with ‘piko piko' electronic sounds suddenly changing into heavy low sounds and fans raised their hands pumping their fists to the music. Sensei Oboro followed, and SHARAKU walked round on the stage looking down as he sang as if he were murmuring, as is his usual way. His introverted, rather masochistic lyrics sung over bright pop and heavy instrumental sounds created a marvellous balance. He sang the lyrics brightly, about what everyone thinks about and it gave fans courage as they reflected on his words. In Tawainai Twilight, fans jumped and raised their hands to the rhythm as they danced along. RIU also played a very cool bass solo in this song.

In this concert SHARAKU spoke very well and he often burst out with his rock spirit shouting "I love you, guys!" many times. Then he murmured, "In life you can only say love so many times, so now I have to spend the rest of my life without love." With this the audience went wild.

Then the beautiful ballad, Bara to Guren started in a dramatic setting with the venue bathed in a red light. We could feel the power of this song in the repeated chorus. After, the pop song Mahou started to which FUKUSUKE played sharp edgy guitar very well. In Hello he performed a funny pantomime dance showing his multi talents. Lights flashed during Fukigen na Android and the audience head banged together. FUKUSUKE danced and played a Theremin deftly, which gave the song a mysterious mood. When Mendokusai started the excitement at the live ran to almost bursting point and fans raised their hands to the speedy drum rhythms as they responded to the calls of the members on stage.

SHARAKU introduced the members and taught the furi (dance moves) of the next song, Boku Ijinden. He himself performed the furi on stage and sang with rapid vocals doing a call and response with his death voice, all of which made the fans have even more fun. As they performed Tokyo Babylon and Mittsukazoero the fans turned around with the heavy pop music, jumped, did a monkey dance and head banged enjoying the live with their whole bodies. TALBO-1: FUKUSUKE gave nice talks as usual making the audience laugh. Then the live dashed into MATSURI φD-SANSKRIT through to the end.

In encore they played the new song, Planet; their unique song, Zetsubou-san with a call and response of "Are you despairing?"; Arigato as a way of thanking the fans and Puchi Tenpenchii. Surprisingly they appeared on stage to answer a third encore and played Boku Ijinden once again to enjoy the furi all together.

Their music, a mix of pop electric and heavy instrumental sounds, combined with steady skills and experience is what makes them so original. The lyrics, written by SHARAKU are withdrawn and a little bit masochistic, however, when combined with funny MCs and performance by FUKUSUKE and powerful bass playing by RIU, really makes their lives a lot of fun. The three characters of the band, SHARAKU – the negative one, FUKUSUKE- the cheerful one, and RIU – the fresh honest one, mix and make the very unique world of Metronome come to life.
