THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S The WORLD of LIGHT EUROPEAN TOUR 2013

The last live of THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S' first European tour at Feierwerk in Munich was fun and much too short.

On the evening of February 26th, 2013, fans gathered outside the doors of Feierwerk in Munich. They overcame the low temperatures with enthusiastic anticipation, waiting to enter the final live of The WORLD of LIGHT EUROPEAN TOUR 2013 of visual kei rock’s THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S. They were also eager to see ex-D'espairsRay members ZERO and TSUKASA again. Finally within the venue, the first fans rushed over to the table with the merchandise goodies, before saving their places at the front of the stage. While the hands of the clock continued to tick towards the time of the scheduled beginning, the gathered fans became more and more impatient.

You can imagine that it wasn't a surprise that the arrival of the group was welcomed with frenetic applause. While on stage, vocalist Ricky also filmed the walk and the reactions of the gathered Myclones (the name given for their fans) via cell phone video, though he might not have seen much himself since he was wearing sunglasses during the first part of the show. After the fade-out of the intro, A BEGINNING FROM THE END., they promptly launched into the wild song, HELLO MY CLONE. THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S fired up the audience, head banged themselves and obviously enjoyed their time from the very beginning. The show continued in almost the same way, but in GLORIOUS BLAZE Ricky got rid of his sunglasses. The audience was in a very good mood as well: the people sang along with them, pumped their fists into the air, and head banged or jumped around.

Soon after the band introduced their new track, YO -TSU-. There was a lot to see in this rocky and catchy tune. Over and over THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S stirred up the fans or interacted with them. After asking how the fans were feeling, the show continued with some new songs. In the rock ballad, Calling, the audience saw the whirlwind ZERO often with a entranced smile on his face, while SHUN. looked unapproachable during his own guitar solo. However, after the last tunes faded away stormy cheers filled the venue, which delighted Ricky very much. The soft song was followed by another fast tune with head banging moments. At the end of Raimei Ricky introduced the first member of the five musicians: guitarist SHUN. In contrast to other bands and their member introductions, Maifo (the nickname for THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S) spread theirs throughout the whole show. Everyone said a few words and sometimes played something. The guitarist used this chance to play a special instrumental piece, in which Ricky got off stage and left the other musicians and the fans alone. Under the command of SHUN. the band and fans became a single yelling, heaving and jumping mass for the next few minutes. Shortly before the end, Ricky joined the party again as well.

The following track, Breaking and Shout Out!, could be referred to as an extension of the previous instrumental song. The song started the exact the way the other one ended. The only differences were that there was a lot of fan service, SHUN. sang back vocals and that bassist ZERO was introduced to the audience at the end of the song. Even though he didn't say much, he played a nice bass solo, to where the crowd enthusiastically clapped their hands before everything turned into another shout-and-answer round. MONSTER'S ROAR fired up the people again and let them roll their heads. As the others ran around the stage freely, TSUKASA didn’t really move around, only staring at his bass drum while playing. However, after the song the drummer was introduced, and he performed a short drum solo afterwards. In closing the main program, THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S launched into the rock ballad Kono saki zutto.... Here, Ricky proved his vocal qualities and all members rushed around the stage. Also, the fans sang a part of the refrain alone. The band was then dismissed and went backstage.

To shorten the time till the encore, or better said, lure the musicians out of the stage faster, the first rows repeated the refrain of Kono saki zutto… over and over. As their singing was finally answered and the five members conquered the stage once more, ZERO used the opportunity to get close with the fans. The next following minutes went by pretty fast because after the obligatory thanks, talking about their regret that this was last live of the tour, Ricky started to interview his band mates, taught the crowd the correct pronunciations of their names and took some memorial photos with his cell phone.

The interviews themselves were pretty entertaining and amusing. The phrase "Daijoubu?" was popular and provided several laughs. Ricky’s first victim of the interview round was SHUN. once again. The poor man didn't know what to say, so he limited himself to talking about what was most important. As it was ZERO's turn, he delivered an amusing screaming battle with Ricky. Afterwards, TSUKASA rose from his drum set and shared his language knowledge with the audience--but what was really noteworthy was that he complied with the wish of the fans to sing some lines from his favourite genre, enka. The penultimate member was guitarist kazuya. With his seductive voice he thanked the audience for coming to this last European concert with such great support. Meanwhile SHUN. introduced the last member: Ricky. For fun, the vocalist repeated his name over and over and had the crowd do the same. After his turn, the time for the real encore eventually came and THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S performed three songs: Hikari no sekai, Photograph and I surrender. Everything that was left of their powers floated into these last three pieces. There was a lot of fan service, and people cheered everywhere. Long story short: everyone enjoyed these moments. For example, during the extended bridge of I surrender TSUKASA was called in to be at the front of the stage, where he stirred up the crowd. Surprisingly SHUN. took his guitar and handed it over to the drummer --though he could only perform some sort of air guitar number.

The evening ended with the obligatory farewell ceremony, including some water showers and small gifts from the band (drum sticks, etc.). However, the band appealed for a big group photo along with the fans and the staff of B7 KLAN.

You could see the joy in the faces of everyone. Even if the venue wasn't sold out, all of the fans had an amusing and unforgettable evening. Surely they are waiting for the big announcement of a second European tour of THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S already.
