Hayashibara Megumi's Latest VINTAGE Series Release

Singer/Songwriter and Seiyuu Hayashibara Megumi will release the latest instalment in her "VINTAGE" series, which will be entitled VINTAGE White, on June 11th.

Hayashibara's career as a seiyuu (voice actor) began in 1986 with minor roles, but her first notable role was in "Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket" where she provided the voice for Christina 'Chris' MacKenzie. The singer/songwriter released her first single Yakusoku da yo in 1989 and has since become the best-selling seiyuu pop singer in Japan.

The album will be the third release of the "VINTAGE" series following VINTAGE S and VINTAGE A, with the latter being released around ten years ago. The songs featured on the two-CD album are a selection of tracks from across Hayashibara's career, including songs from single and album releases, as well as B-sides. The CD will feature the newly recorded track Heart Bridge which was written by Hayashibara for the album and a self-cover of Starting again, which she originally penned for Hoshi Souichirou. The CD+DVD edition will also include the music video for Heart Bridge.
