Ryuichi Kawamura's Budokan Performance, DVDs and Album

LUNA SEA vocalist Ryuichi Kawamura has announced a special solo concert, titled "Genkai no Sono Saki e" 100 no Monogatari ~Epilogue~ at the Nippon Budokan on March 13th 2011. During the concert, he will perform a total of 100 songs, spanning a total of over six hours.

In February 2008 Kawamura held the concert 70 no Monogatari at the Budokan, in which he performed all 70 songs from his original solo albums. This time, he is planning to outdo himself with a staggering number of songs in what should prove to be an epic performance. General tickets for the concert will go on sale on February 5th.

The solo artist has also planned the release of two documentary DVDs for December 15th. The first DVD, Ryuichi Kawamura x Garyu ~Dai Issho PRIVATE~, features private footage of the singer, while in Ryuichi Kawamura x Garyu ~Dai Issho HIBIKI~ the viewers are taken along to the temple complex Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Just like his LUNA SEA colleague J, Ryuichi will also be releasing a 'self-cover best-of' album, featuring re-recordings from his best songs. The title is still unknown, but it has already been announced that the album will be available in a regular and limited edition featuring a DVD. The release date is March 9th, a week before LUNA SEA will re-release their album LUNA SEA.
