Popular male idol group NEWS have announced the upcoming release of their first single of 2010, entitled Sakura Girl, for March 24th.

The single will be the group's first in almost a year, following Koi no ABO which was released in April 2009. The single is rumoured to focus around the meetings and farewells which occur in the season of spring.

The regular edition of the single will include a three-fold, six-page booklet and the tracks FREEDOM and Sakura Girl (Original Karaoke), which will be exclusive to this version. The limited edition will feature a two-fold, four-page booklet, six alternate jacket covers and the exclusive tracks Love Melodies and Sakura Girl (A Cappella). Both versions will come with a movie download ID for unique mobile content.
