FUNKY MONKEY BABYS First Best-of Album

Hip-hop group FUNKY MONKEY BABYS have announced the release of their first best-of album, simply titled FUNKY MONKEY BABYS BEST, for February 10th.

2009 was a breakthrough year for the band. With their third album, FUNKY MONKEY BABYS 3, they achieved the first spot in the Oricon weekly rankings. The group held their first two Nippon Budokan concerts in June, and with the hit single Hero, they received an invitation to perform at the popular New Year's TV show "Kouhaku Utagassen".

The best-of album will contain two discs featuring all of their singles, from their debut Sono mama e to their upcoming January single Namida / Yume, as well as the digital single Furusato. A DVD with fourteen music videos and footage from their concert at Fukuoka Kousai Center (with a capacity of 5,500 people) will also be included on the limited edition of the release.
