Acid Black Cherry, the solo project of Janne Da Arc's vocalist yasu, has revealed on its official website that the group is stopping activities due to an urgent health issue with the singer.

Acid Black Cherry recently finished a nationwide tour at Nippon Budokan, held to promote the album Q.E.D, which was released in August this year. However, yasu had been facing problems with his throat since the rehearsals for the concerts. It was later discovered that it was full of cysts, and as they cannot be treated by medication, he has to undergo surgery.

Therefore, the group's concert at Osaka-jo Hall on December 24th has been postponed indefinitely, as well as the acoustic performances held to purchasers of the album Q.E.D. Lastly, it has already been stated that yasu intends to resume activities as soon as he is fully recovered.
