New Live DVD from BARBEE BOYS

Veteran rock band BARBEE BOYS announced the release of a brand-new live DVD, called fwd:Re:BARBEE BOYS, for October 28th.

BARBEE BOYS was formed originally in 1983, achieving major status with the release of the single Kurayami de DANCE in 1984 and later disbanding after a last concert at Shibuya Kokaido (now called Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall) in January 1992. In April 2008, the group made a special appearance in the TV show held by pop group SMAP called "SMAP×SMAP", where they performed their popular song Megitsune on the Run. In February this year, the group reunited to perform five new concerts around four different Zepp livehouses in order to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

fwd:Re:BARBEE BOYS will feature footage from their performance held at Zepp Tokyo on February 17th with a total of 24 tracks, including Megitsune on the Run, used as a CM song back in 1987, a brand-new song called CRAZY BLUES and also Makasete TONIGHT, currently unpublished. Additionally, the DVD will also include a documentary containing backstage scenes, appealing to both younger crowds and older fans.
