JAY'ED Single and Album

New Zealand-born R&B singer JAY'ED has announced plans to release his fifth major single, Everybody, on October 14th, and also his first major album, MUSICATION, two weeks later, on October 28th.

JAY'ED has been known for a few succesful collaboration songs, especially Ashita ga kuru nara, in which he sang with popular singer JUJU. He started his career in Japan in 2000. In 2002, he joined the Osaka hip-hop crew D-ST.ENT, leading him to take part as a backing vocalist for soul singer ORITO, who sang as the opening act for one of Justin Timberlake's Japan performances. superwoman, his major debut single, was released in May 2008 by Kimi, a sub-label from TOY'S FACTORY.

Everybody, described as a mix between disco-pop and R&B with influences from the 80's, is being used as the newest CM song for "au Smart Sports" and will come with a b-side called Do I Do. The album, MUSICATION, is expected to include his hit single Zutto issho, which has been downloaded over 500,000 times since its release date. Other details about the album will be released soon.
