Pop Singles Invade the Summer

Singer/Songwriter Angela Aki, who has gained considerable popularity with the song Kiss Me Good-Bye which was used as the theme song for FINAL FANTASY XII, has announced the upcoming release of her latest single Kodoku no kakera which will be released on May 23rd.

Singer Kou Shibasaki will also release her upcoming single Prism on May 30th. The title track will be used as the theme song for the movie Sono toki wa kare ni yoroshiku which will premier in cinemas in Japan on June 2nd.

Pop/Rock group UVERworld, who have contributed various songs to several anime series throughout their career, will release their latest single endscape on May 30th. The single will be released in CD and CD+DVD format, with the title track being used as the theme song for the anime TOWARD THE TERRA.

Singer/Songwriter YUI will release her upcoming single My Generation/Understanding on June 13th. Both tracks will be used as "tie-ups" with My Generation being used as the theme song for the drama Seito Shokun! and Understanding will feature as the theme song for the movie Sidecar ni inu.

Finally, pop singer Otsuka Ai will release the single PEACH/HEART on June 20th. The single will be released in CD and CD+DVD format with the title track being used as the theme song for the drama Hanazakari no kimitachi e ~Ikemen♂Paradise~. The DVD will include the music video for PEACH.
