The Yellow Monkey

The disbanded rock'n'roll band The Yellow Monkey will release a new live-DVD entitled Live Teikoku on December 23rd. The DVD will include live footage from The Yellow Monkey's performance from the TVK series Live Teikoku originally filmed in 1995.

Yoshii Lovinson, the former vocalist of The Yellow Monkey, has just announced details about his new single BEAUTIFUL which will be available from January 25th. He has also made it known that he will start on a tour in early February, called My Foolish heart.

Also The Yellow Monkey's bassist Heesey announced that his solo project Heesey with dudes will stop their activities later this year. Their last tour THE FAREWELL TOUR ends at Liquidroom Ebisu in Tokyo on December 7th. The band are ceasing activities because Heesey doesn't want to sing anymore, he is primarily a bassist and he would prefer do do just that, rather than sing. He also said that he isn't going to disappear from music scene entirely.
