Ruri Leaves Ziyoou-vachi

Ruri, drummer of Ziyoou-vachi (known internationally as QUEEN BEE), has announced her departure from the rock band.

The drummer, who is the younger sister of vocalist Avu, had been inactive since last year following a bout of poor health. In a message confirming her ‘graduation’ from Ziyoou-vachi, she cited burnout as a contributing factor.

The announcement brings to a close Ruri's 14-year career with the band, which she co-founded in 2009 with Avu and bassist Yashi.
