It was announced today that ex-V6 member Ken Miyake has joined TOBE, a new company founded by Hideaki Takizawa, who was formerly one half of Tackey & Tsubasa.
Miyake left talent agency Johnny & Associates after 30 years this May, promising that he would return to the stage and meet his fans again after taking some time to charge up. On July 2nd, which marked his 44th birthday, TOBE held a live stream
where
Miyake announced that he has officially joined the company and talked a bit about his hopes for the future. An archive of the live stream is available on YouTube here.
Miyake has opened a new official fan club, stating that he is planning to hold many concerts across Japan in the near future. Fans can keep an eye on his official Twitterand

Takizawa announced he founded TOBE this March, stating that he has decided to try living life in the entertainment industry again. The company opened auditions at the same time, seeking out applicants living in Japan, without mentioning any restrictions
on age or gender. It is noted on the website that applicants must be able to appear in web or television contents to go along with the judging process and be willing to attend lessons if they are selected. Details are available (in Japanese) on the

Both former Johnny’s talents, Miyake and Takizawa have worked together many times in the past, particularly in recent years. Miyake began performing in
Takizawa's theater show "Takizawa Kabuki" starting in 2016 and the two men also formed a special unit called KEN☆Tackey in 2018.
