New Album from Aya Project

Aya Project, the hard rock solo project of keyboardist Aya Ishigami, will release a new album on May 31st.

Resurrection comes two-and-a-half years on from Aya Project's debut album Heiliger Geist. It will contain twelve tracks, all produced by TERRA ROSA and Aphrodite keyboardist Masashi "Jill" Okagaki.

These include eight new tracks, with two featuring guest vocals by Dead Eyed Spider frontman Tadahiko Chida; live versions of Overturn and The Chaos from Heiliger Geist; and a re-recorded version of the early song Silky.

As a bonus track, Resurrection features a cover of The Way To The Victory, a song Aya co-wrote with the hard rock band CRYSTAL ARROW. Original vocalist Kaoruko Iwase and guitarist Mayu also perform on the track.

The session band for the album proper consisted of Blue Symphony guitarist Hiromi Suzuki, bassist Mario Mizumoto, and Scheherazade drummer Nobuo Horie.
