Rock band ASH DA HERO will release their first major single on February 22nd.
The title song, Judgement, was written to serve as the opening theme for the second season of the popular anime series "Blue Lock", which will begin airing on NUMAnimation on January 14th.
The single will be available in two editions. The "ADH" edition will feature four songs: the title track, the coupling track Jibun kakumei, and instrumental versions of both songs. It will also add a Blu-ray disc with live footage from
the the band's September 5th show at Zepp Haneda, a documentary covering ASH DA HERO LIVE TOUR 2022 "Genesis" and a video documenting the recording of Judgement and the making of its music video. The "Blue Lock" edition will be CD-only,
with jacket art inspired by the anime, and it will feature Saikyou no End Roll as its coupling track instead.
Fans of "Blue Lock" won't have to wait until February to download or stream the title song from Judgement, however, as it will get a preceding digital release on January 15th. A music video for the song will also premiere on the same
day.
In addition, ASH DA HERO will hold a one-man live to commemorate the release of the single, titled ASH DA HERO LIVE 2023 “Judgement”, at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on April 8th, 2023.
ASH DA HERO is a five-piece rock band that made its major debut on the Bandai Namco Music Live sub-label Purple One Star on August 31st. While vocalist ASH was active as a solo artist under the same name from 2014 to 2021, ASH DA HERO was
reborn as a band in September 2021. In addition to ASH, the line-up features guitarist Narukaze, bassist Sato, drummer WANI and DJ Dhalsim. Their sound blends together genres such as rock, punk and hip-hop.
