Following a successful European tour and the departure of member
Hisui Kurogane, idol group
NECRONOMIDOL recently announced that their current line-up will be coming to an end.
The decision was made by the group's producer
after conflict arose between members while overseas. The official announcement states that
Kurogane revealed personal information about member
Meica Mochinaga during an Instagram live on her personal account.
The situation described in the announcement led to two members attempting to go to the airport and return to Japan. After staff intervened and all members were safely in
their accommodations, the tour was able to continue. However, as the broadcast violated her contract and strained her relationship with the other members,
Kurogane was removed from the unit.
Due to worries about the safety of the members
as well as being able to perform up to their usual standards, the group is set to enter a temporary hiatus after one final show. Any event that was announced or confirmed prior to the hiatus will go forward as planned.
In the official announcement,
NECRONOMIDOL's producer
Ricky stated that he plans to "rebuild the group in such a way that we can safely and reliably deliver amazing shows and music long into the future".
