Vicke Blanka's latest single "Changes" is out on digital platforms worldwide now, and it is the ending song for the French film "Revenge of The Shiny Shrimps".
Singer-songwriter Vicke Blanka released a new single digitally worldwide on April 13th.
Changes is the ending song for "Revenge of The Shiny Shrimps" ("La Revanche des Crevettes Pailletées"), the sequel to French film "The Shiny Shrimps", which was released in 2019. The series depicts the real-world gay water polo team of the same
name, with the new film following the members of the Shiny Shrimps as they travel to Japan to participate in the latest edition of the Gay Games, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sports and culture festival. It was released in France on April 13th, and the
ending song will also be included when the film is released globally.
Changes was written especially for the movie, featuring lyrics with a message about embracing change. During the production process, Vicke Blanka exchanged emails in English with the film’s French directors, Cédric Le Gallo and
Maxime Govare, to discuss the details.
To further emphasize the theme of change, Vicke Blanka had his trademark shoulder-length
hair cut short for the photo used in the jacket art.

Vicke Blanka commented: “It’s a song about change. I wrote the lyrics while reflecting on how all of us want to change, how I want to change, how some things need to change, and how some things need to be changed. I’m honored to be
involved in such an important movie.”
On the same day, the music video for Changes was also revealed. The video is said to express "how a change can provide the catalyst to resolve a situation that had previously held us back".
