Pop unit w-inds. will release a new album on November 24th.
20XX "We are" will be their first full-length release since the departure of Ryuichi Ogata left
w-inds. a duo consisting of Ryohei Chiba and
Keita Tachibana in 2020. It comes about three years after their previous album, 2018's 100.
The album will contain 10 tracks, all of which were produced by Keita. These will include the previously-released digital single Beautiful Now, which was the first song w-inds. put out since reemerging as a duo, and Strip and
Little, two new tracks that were just released digitally in September and October respectively.
A music video for Strip has also been revealed on w-inds.' YouTube channel. It features the duo performing
choreography created by
Sota (GANMI) alongside six back-up dancers. Of particular note is a scene where the dancers are sitting on chairs and dancing like they are trying to free themselves from the past that has bound them.
The album will be available in three editions. The limited editions will add either a Blu-ray disc or a DVD featuring the music video for Strip and a video called Document of 20XX ”We are”. The regular edition will be CD-only.
