Singer, songwriter, and producer Maika Loubté will release a new album on October 20th.

The exact tracklist of Lucid Dreaming has not been revealed just yet, but it is known that it will contain six singles she has released digitally in recent months, including It's So Natural, a collaboration with AAAMYYY.

The latest preceding digital single from the release, Flower In The Dark, just came out on August 25th. Links to download and stream the track are available here

Flower In The Dark is said to be a "comfortable electronica song that makes one feel as if they are lost floating around in a daydream". The lyrics depict a person who has lost an important person and is battling with a variety of emotions, with the flower in the song expressing love, grief and respect to the deceased.

Regarding the song, Loubté commented:
"A lot of encounters and events that happened a few years ago led me to write this song. It's hard to say where people go after they die. But I feel like I can find hope by strongly believing that we are really together, even if we can't see each other."

Maika Loubté was raised in Paris and Hong Kong and currently resides in Tokyo. Inspired by music from around the world, she experiments and creates using a number of vintage analog synthesizers in her home studio. Her music has been featured in campaigns for Mazda, RVCA, and on an original Netflix Anime series.
