New "Youjo Shachou" Character Song Album from Hisako Kanemoto
A collection of songs by Hisako Kanemoto in-character as Mayu Warito, produced by LIGHT BRINGER's Mao, drops on April 14th.
Voice actress and singer Hisako Kanemoto will release a new 'character song album' in her role as Mayu Warito from anime series "Youjo Shachou" on April 14th.
Kanpai!, which also features vocals by the album's lyricist Kotori Koiwai, was produced by LIGHT BRINGER keyboardist Mao. Guitar work is provided by Mada mitakoto no nai sekai's Mitsuru, her former BRIDEAR bandmate Misato "Misa" Ono, and Mayto. of 'harmonic metal' band HAGANE. Bassist Wakazaemon and drummers JUNNA and MALIKLIYA's Shuhei Kamada also feature.
Mitsuru, Mao, Tatsushi Hayashi, Yuto Iizuka and Kamada all contributed compositions to the album. The latter previously wrote and drummed on Kaisha ni kaerou!, the ending theme for "Youjo Shachou" performed by Kanemoto (as Warito) and Koiwai.
