Sion, the frontwoman of hard rock band aphasia, will release her first solo album on March 24th.
Oto no Mori will contain ten tracks, all produced by Unlucky Morpheus and UNDEAD CORPORATION guitarist Jinya. These will be a mix of four original songs and six covers, including Sion's takes on Yoko Takahashi's Tamashii no Refrain, Chihiro Onitsuka's Moonlight and Little Glee Monster's Seasons Of Love.
Besides Jinya, Oto no Mori also features several guest musicians, such as Mary's Blood and NEMOPHILA guitarist SAKI, LIGHT BRINGER keyboardist Mao, Unlucky Morpheus bassist Hiroyuki Ogawa and MAHATMA bassist Massu. In addition to contributing guitar work, Cerveteri's Isao also composed two songs.
Sion can be seen in action with aphasia, who she joined in 2015, in the music video for Queen Of The Night below.
