Beverly Releases Image Song for "Azur Lane: Operation Siren"

Singer Beverly recently released her new digital single Signal, which has been used as the image song for "Operation Siren", the latest expansion of naval-themed mobile game "Azur Lane".

Signal's title track is a mid-tempo ballad, sung from the viewpoint of a hero adventuring through the fierce waves. The lyrics make reference to the “broken and torn emotions” of embattled heroes confronting a “dark and bitter destiny” and “falling deep into the sea” – but overcoming adversity together when you “trust what’s in your heart” and “never doubt yourself and what you feel”.

Since her debut in 2016, the Filipina songstress has firmly established herself within Japan's music landscape. Beverly has the distinction of being one of the last artists to collaborate with Tetsuya Komuro before his retirement, and in 2019, she performed the first opening theme for the new anime adaptation of landmark shojo manga "Fruits Basket".
