Last year, "extreme J-pop band" HYSTERIC PANIC announced that guitarist and co-vocalist $EIGO would be leaving the group in March and the remaining members would be continuing on as a quartet.

However, due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, his departure ended up being delayed until after a no-audience streaming live that was held on "Panic Day" (August 29th). While the show was not archived or released on DVD, a digest video featuring footage from the concert was later uploaded to YouTube.

Today, HYSTERIC PANIC announced their first release since his "graduation". It will be a four-song EP titled U2 that will hit digital stores and streaming services on January 4th. A joint music video for two new songs from the release called Ri and StiLL has also been revealed.

The EP will also get a limited physical release in bundles with other merchandise. Details on the physical version will be revealed at a later date.

In addition, HYSTERIC PANIC have announced a pair of one-man lives titled Back Again and Once Again that will be held at venues in their hometown of Nagoya on February 13th and 14th. The first will be limited to members of the band's fanclub.
