Shounannokaze and Yasutaka Nakata Collaborate for New "Yakuza" Theme

Reggae quartet Shounannokaze recently announced that they will be releasing a new digital single created in collaboration with CAPSULE's Yasutaka Nakata on January 9th.

Ichibanka will be the theme song of the PlayStation 4 game "Yakuza: Like a Dragon", which will be out in Japan on January 16th. Nakata composed the music, while the members of Shounannokaze wrote the lyrics.

The single will feature three tracks: the title song, an instrumental version of the track and an extended mix. A "MEGA DRIVE" version of the song will also be available as an iTunes-exclusive fourth track.

This will be Shounannokaze's first release since switching labels to UNIVERSAL J and the third time they have been called on to provide music for the "Yakuza" franchise.
