Pop punk band 04 Limited Sazabys will release a new single on September 4th.
Titled SEED, it will contain three tracks. These will include Puzzle, which is a CM song for the smartphone game "Gundam Breaker Mobile", Montage, which is the opening song for the drama "TWO WEEKS", and Cycle, which
is being used as the theme for the seventh short in NHK's "Anime x Para: Who is Your Hero?" animation project, which focuses on para-cycling. The shorts in this series were created with the goal of building interest in parasports ahead of the 2020 Olympic
Games in Tokyo. You can watch the first six shorts here.
SEED will also contain a video with live and documentary footage from YON FES, an annual festival 04 Limited Sazabys organize.
However, the band specified that this will not be an ordinary CD+DVD release - they are said to be working on a unique format for it. Details on what shape it will take will be revealed closer to the release date.
In a comment about the release, frontman GEN stated that because a lot of people don't have CD players these days and many don't even have a drive to play discs on their computers anymore, he wanted to try a new style of package that will
still give fans the joy and excitement of opening and owning a physical item but that will take a more playful and unique approach to it.
This will be the band's first new release in about a year, following their October 2018 album SOIL.
