MINMI Releases English Version of "Samurai Champloo" Closing Theme Digitally Worldwide

Hip-hop, soca, reggaeton musician, and singer-songwriter MINMI has released two new mixes one of her best-known singles Shiki No Uta, which was originally featured as the closing theme song to the acclaimed anime series, "Samurai Champloo".

In addition to a fresh recording of the original track, Shiki No Uta also debuts for the first time featuring English lyrics sung by MINMI. Shiki No Uta is now available digitally on leading music platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music.

MINMI will perform live at Otakon 2019 as part of the event’s Tribute to Nujabes Concert. Otakon 2019 takes place July 26th to 28th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The Tribute to Nujabes Concert featuring MINMI will commence on Friday, July 26th. Nujabes was an influential Japanese artist and producer who drew wide acclaim through his work on "Samurai Champloo" and production work with MINMI.
