LUNA SEA bassist J will release a new album on July 24th.
Limitless will be his first original solo album in about four years and his 11th overall. It will feature 11 tracks, including his 2018 single Now And Forever.
The release will be available in seven editions. One will include just the CD, while two will contain a Blu-ray disc or DVD featuring music videos and making-of footage for Now And Forever and two more new songs, as well as live footage from his F.C.Pyro.NIGHT vol.16 event held at Shinjuku BLAZE on May 5th this year. This show was particularly significant because it was the last stage for J's ESP original model basses. J has been an ESP endorser for 28 years, and he has worked with the company to create many popular original models. He held one final tour this year to give his partnership with ESP a proper send-off, and the aforementioned show was the final date, officially marking the end of his contract.
The "special set" editions will feature the same contents as the CD+DVD and CD+Blu-ray editions, but they will add an 80-page photobook featuring live shots taken during his March 30th show at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, which was the first date of his ESP farewell tour. There will also be two editions exclusive to his fanclub "F.C.Pyro." that will add a special serial number plate to the contents of the "special set" versions.
