DJ and music producer TeddyLoid has announced that he will bring his SILENT PLANET series to an end with not just one, but two new albums.
The first, SILENT PLANET: RELOADED, will hit stores on November 14th. It is said to be based around the concept of "DUBSTEP vs MC’s", featuring a heavy and noisy sound.
The other album will be titled SILENT PLANET: INFINITY, and it will be released on November 28th. It will highlight the game, anime and pop-influenced side of TeddyLoid's sound. It is said to be a melodic release that delves into genres like EDM, tropical house and future trap.
His collaborators for both will be announced at a later date.
The series first began with the release of TeddyLoid's second full-length album SILENT PLANET near the end of 2015, which featured collaborations with big names from the Japanese pop scene like Yasutaka Nakata and Tetsuya Komuro. It continued with the release of six digital-only SILENT PLANET 2 EPs featuring popular artists such as KOHH, DAOKO and CHANMINA. All of the releases are available for streaming worldwide via Spotify.
TeddyLoid recently arranged the song 1 2 3 for hype sex heaven for SuG vocalist Takeru's solo project sleepyhead. The song is featured on sleepyhead's EP NIGHTMARE SWAP, which was just released on October 17th. He also appeared as a DJ in the video, which can be viewed below.
