MUCC will release a new full-length album on January 25th, 2017.
The album, titled Myakuhaku, will have 14 tracks, including their previously released singles Yue ni, matenrou, Heide and CLASSIC.
Myakuhaku was produced by Miya and Ken (L'Arc~en~Ciel, S.O.A.P) and it will hit stores in three types. Limited Editions Type A and B will include a DVD with documentary footage of the recording process, MUCC's comments for their 20° anniversary, as well as footage from their performance at the festival MITO GROOVIN’ 2016. Limited Edition Type A also includes an art book, and it will be limited to 3000 copies. The Regular Edition will be CD-only.
Myakuhaku is part of MUCC's 20th anniversary celebrations, which will consist of 20 plans for 2017 according to this special website. These plans also include a nationwide tour from February 2nd to April 15th, a 20th anniversary live on May 4th in Ibaraki, a new DVD featuring footage from their previous tour, and a tribute album. The details for these releases have not yet been announced.
